Al-Nomani heads the first preparatory meeting for the Scientific Conference for Young Researchers
Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, confirmed that in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to pay attention to scientific research, the university’s administration spares no effort in harnessing all its resources for the benefit of improving the research process and supporting it in an optimal way, providing a suitable environment for young researchers, and holding distinguished scientific meetings to exchange experiences and opinions and experiences to continue their research production, as this is done in light of the plans of the Ministry of Higher Education led by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
This came during his presidency of the first preparatory meeting for the ninth scientific conference for young researchers, the “Fourth International”, which will be held next February 28, 2024 in the New University Conference Center, in the presence of Prof. Ahmed Hassanein, Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, and prof. Sabah Saber, Chairman of the Conference’s Organizing Committee, Dr. Amani Abu Al-Qasim, the general coordinator of the conference, and Dr. Muhammad Heshmat, director of Knowledge and Electronic Services Center and a number of members of the organizing committee.
Al-Nomani explained that the conference aims to conduct research within the framework of the university’s research plan for the purpose of sustainable development at the local, national and international levels, to prepare a generation of distinguished young researchers capable of conducting high-level research and enhancing their capabilities on collective and competitive work, producing knowledge and technologies, and achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030.
During his meeting, Al-Nomani discussed the logistical services provided by the organizing committee and the academic steps provided by the scientific committee, including the research that will be presented during the conference, which will be judged and evaluated by professors in the various faculties for publication in the Young Researchers Journal, which has obtained an award rating: 6 in the ranking of the Supreme Council of Universities.
