Veterinary convoy in the village of Sheikh Marzouk, Al Balina Center

Under the patronage of Dr/ Mustafa Abdel-Khaleq, President of the University, and Dr/Bahaa El-Din Ali Abdallah, Dean of the Veterinary Medicine at Sohag University continued its series of free veterinary convoys to the villages and centers of the governorate. Dr/ Mustafa Abdel-Khaleq said that the convey includes 580 animals from cows, buffaloes, sheep, goats, animals and camels, in addition to examining 75 birds.

Dr/ Bahaa El-Din Ali Abdullah, Dean of the College, confirmed that many conveys has been organized to serve the villages, and providing all free services to facilitate to the people of these villages.

It also participated Dr/ Hammad Al-Azzazi, director of the Animal Health Research Institute in the governorate, Dr/ Khaled Abdel Latif, head of the Syndicate of Veterinarians, Dr/ Ali Farraj, consultant of poultry diseases at the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine, and Dr/ Israa Sarhan at the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine, where all veterinary services and consultations were provided to breeders, pointing out that samples of diseased cases could also be taken for analysis by college.

Dr/ Muhammad Hosni Al-Rashidi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, said that a number of faculty members of the faculty and specialists in internal and infectious diseases, surgery, reproductive diseases, poultry diseases participated in the convoy, and other specialties participated in the convoy, Dr/ Muhammad Salama, Dr/Ahmed Imam and Dr/Wafaa Saber.

Osama Al-Badri, the media official in the veterinary convoys, confirmed that these convoys have an important role in the practical training of the students, as they were trained on methods of examination and treatment, how to deal with sick cases and ways of communicating with their owners.
